Hopefully the work here demonstrates both my creativity and versatility, having over 20 years’ experience in the design field. This experience includes designing for all aspects of print communications including advertising and direct mail campaigns, through to brochures and reports. Over the past 10 years I have also been heavily involved in championing digital media on behalf of clients, and how the latest technologies can be added to a communications mix to increase response, loyalty and awareness, or as a tool for educating a wider audience.

I have created and implemented a number of corporate identities and gone on to help establish them as new brands in the market. Equally, I have worked with existing brands, often within tight guidelines, to come up with new creative solutions to take them forward, or in a management role to ensure visual consistency and that brand values are upheld. I am happy leading a team or working alongside other creatives, client-facing staff, or indeed, clients themselves. I am also used to managing my own workflow, having had extensive experience in the freelance field.

Personally, I would consider myself to have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and can think conceptually as well as rationally.

When it comes to clients I look for an enthusiasm and a ‘spark’ that matches my own. I’ve worked for big businesses, small businesses, corporate brands, charities and more but as far as I’m concerned if you love your job as much as I do, then I’ll be happy to work with you!

I currently live in East Kent in the UK with my wife and two children. I am a huge lover of the British Coast and all it has to offer from the sublime beauty of the Cornish coast to the tack of Blackpool and the faded glamour of Margate… and I can’t say no to Fish and Chips!
